'New York At War' parade New York City 1942

'New York at War'on Army Day, June 13, 1942. The largest parade ever held in New York at that time, it lasted about 11 hours going up Fifth Avenue from Washington Square to 72nd Street. There were an estimated half-million people participating in the parade.
In the first part Mayor La Guardia is seen marching at about the 3:40 mark and Roy Rogers, riding Trigger, appears at about 6:25.

Newsreel 1950 China in UN, Korea Invaded

Newsreel from 1950 featuring:
- Nationalist China seated in UN. Malek departed and absent when Korean War began.
- Communist activities in Berlin, France, Japan, Union Square in New York. Spy Gubitchev deported.
